A winter street scene in Vika with people crossing a snow-covered roadway marked by wheel tracks and footprints. The composition is organized along a central perspective axis formed by the street and the flanking buildings, with a lamppost near left-center reinforcing the vertical structure. Dark figures in the foreground anchor the lower register, while the architecture recedes toward Vika Terrasse in the background. Diffuse winter light produces moderate contrast, preserving snow texture and softening distant architectural detail. The building to the right of the spire in the background was lost to fire in 1955 and replaced in 1962.
