Two children walk uphill away from the camera across an open grassy slope, seen from behind. The taller, at the right, wears a dark short-sleeved shirt and shorts; the smaller, at the left, a light cap and light clothing, carrying something in one hand. The slope rises from the lower left and falls away at the right, where birch and other trees stand. Above, tall cumulus clouds occupy the upper two-thirds of the frame. Taken from a low viewpoint, the composition sets the small dark figures against the bright sky. Contrast is high, the clouds and the lit grass holding the brightest tones. The two children are Per and Turid, the photographer’s son and daughter.

Technical Details: Likely a gelatin silver print, mounted on card with painted borders — yellow along the top edge, red along the bottom. No signature or verso inscription is recorded in the brief.
